As part of our LiFT memberships we like to encourage members to find ways to find ways to stay fit and active, and also have a REASON to keep in shape which you enjoy.

With the launch of our new ‘LiFT Adventure Club’ members have the chance to get involved in this years X-Runner event held in Derby on April 6th, a lifting competition in Hornchurch on April 27thand our quarterly fitness testing which launches this May, amongst other new events being planned.

You may be aware that moving more and having more motivation would be a great benefit to your health and well-being. So, to get you started here are 3 events happening in Leicester this year that will keep you moving, while also help you to have lots of fun with family and friends.

Aqua Park Rutland

Aquapark is a floating obstacle course which will have you increasing your strength and endurance, as well as burning a few extra calories. 

With ‘climbing walls, trampolines, balance bars, rockers, rollers and blast bags’ it’s perfect for anyone wanting to become more active, and also has some extra slides and drops for the adrenaline junkies out there.

Once you’ve climbed your way to the top of an obstacle or pulled yourself onto a float from the water a few times, you’ll know you’ve worked your muscles and helped to condition those lungs.

Leicester Victoria Parkrun 

Parkrun is a 5k run that you complete whilst competing against your last best time, or just taking part for fun.

It’s always great to have the structure of an event to keep you accountable, and the camaraderie of others to keep you motivated.

Everyone is welcome and you run at your own pace, plus, Parkrun is FREE!

Boost Trampoline Park 

Trampolining is awesome all-round conditioning for anyone really. You don’t need to be an expert; all you have to do is give it a go and keep – bouncing! 

A great one for entertaining the kids too.
